On the Friday edition of “Today’s Issues,” Tim Wildmon and I interviewed Franklin Graham about his father’s new book Storm Warning, which discusses the Second Coming and current events. Franklin also gave us an update on his father’s health and also talked briefly about the three Samaritan’s Purse workers who were abducted in the Darfur region of Sudan earlier this week.

I hope you’ll listen to this interview because Franklin was very upfront about the message of the gospel and how Jesus is the only way of salvation. You’ll have to hear his answer when I asked him what he thought God was saying to us through the recent earthquakes, the volcano in Iceland that shut down air traffic in Europe, and the spreading oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico.

But he reserved his choicest comments for the spiritual situation in Washington, the recent controversy regarding his dis-invitation from the National Day of Prayer event in the Pentagon, and the trend toward a one-world government.

	Great interview, Pastor Pritchard! Franklin didn’t mince his words at all, did he? With all the problems going on in our world today, this is the message we need to hear and to share with our neighbors. We may not have that many days left.

	I purchased Storm Warning just yesterday and I received this e-mail on the interview with Franklin Graham today, which was very timely. I moved from Texas to Minnesota about a year ago. You can not live here without noticing that something is happening. We have a very strong Muslim community, greatly from Somalia with over 100 mosques built in the area. We have a great opportunity to witness to the many Muslims who are here. Our schools and curriculum are being watered down in order to be welcoming and accomodating to all cultures. I feel a loss of obedience and since of what I thought it meant to be an American- One nation under God- I thought. Do you have any suggestions other than prayer as to what we as parents can do for our children in the Public school system which seems to be as accomodating as the current administration.
